Somalia has concluded its negotiations with the East African Community (EAC) on membership.
The negotiations have been taking place in Nairobi for several days now.
Both sides concluded the exercise after 9 days of intense deliberations on Wednesday.
Participants discussed multiple topics including political and legal.
Further, their talks also touched on security as well as the social and productive sectors.
A report on the discussions is to be presented to the EAC Heads of Summit in November 2023.
