Somalia is furious at the attempts by Ethiopia to block its President from attending the ongoing African Union (AU) Summit.
Apparently, Ethiopia attempted to block President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud from attending the Summit that runs from February 17-18.
Leaders from all over the continent were at the Summit for the AU Summit.
It represented the first time the Somali President traveled to Ethiopia since the onset of the diplomatic row between both nations.
Somalia is angered at the seaport deal that Ethiopia signed with Somaliland on January 1, 2024.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation called upon the AU to reconsider Ethiopia as host of such an event.
