Somalia congratulated Djibouti on the occasion of its 47th Independence Day celebrations.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud sent the congratulatory message to his Djiboutian counterpart President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
Djibouti got its independence on June 27, 1977.
President Mohamud commended Djibouti for the development and achievements it has enjoyed in the over four decades of its existence as a nation.
Somalia and Djibouti enjoy historical close diplomatic and bilateral ties.
