Somalia has the potential to emerge as a global leader in agriculture.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud declared this while addressing the Saudi-Africa Summit in Riyadh.
During his Friday speech, the Somali President spoke of the country’s immense potential in agriculture.
He spoke of the potential that Somalia has in other fields too.
Those the President highlighted included livestock and marine resources.
President Mohamud asked his fellow leaders to embrace opportunities for trade cooperation with Somalia.
He urged them to invest in the country’s communications sector too.
