A court in Somalia has fined 30 Yemenis $700 each for fishing in the country illegally.
The 30 fishermen from Yemen were caught recently while fishing along Hobyo shores.
Hobyo is in Galmudug.
The fishermen were presented in a court in Galkayo on March 29.
Furthermore, authorities in the region seized the boat that the fishermen had used to carry out illegal fishing activities in Hobyo.
