The federal government of Somalia sent some of its experts to attend an Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) conference in Naivasha, Kenya.
They arrived in Naivasha for the start of the conference on Monday.
The Somali representatives will join their colleagues from other IGAD nations on discussions focusing on tackling the urgent threat of transboundary pests.
Furthermore, participants are also expected to address critical agricultural and environmental challenges that affect the region.
