Somalia’s Ministry of Health has denied claims that the country has a second positive Coronavirus case.
Furthermore, the health ministry clarified that the country has not reported a second confirmation since the first one that was announced last week.
The ministry said, “The country has not confirmed a second Coronavirus case. Therefore, we ask Somalis to ignore the false message circulating on social media.”
Nevertheless, the country is tracking all suspected cases of Coronavirus. It has kept all persons who traveled with Patient Zero into Somalia last week in close check.
On Tuesday, the Federal Government of Somalia announced that it has set aside $5 million to support the fight against the virus that has rocked countries worldwide.
