Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid hosted the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia on February 14.
The meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Gulaid and Ambassador Ahmed Mohamed took place in his office in Mogadishu.
Gulaid and Ambassador Mohamed discussed issues of mutual interest.
Predominantly, their talks centered around the need for strengthening relations between their respective nations.
Deputy Prime Minister Gulaid also requested for humanitarian assistance from the Saudi government to resolve the ongoing drought in Somalia.
