Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has received a donation of foodstuff from China.
SODMA received the donation on Saturday, October 1 at a handover ceremony that took place in Mogadishu.
Fei Shengchao, the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, handed over the donation of wheat and rice from the government of China to SODMA.
Mohamud Moallim, a SODMA Director, received the donation on behalf of the people and government of Somalia.
SODMA would now ensure that the wheat and rice from China reach all drought-affected people around the country.
