Somalia Economic Update is to be launched on Thursday.
The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources confirmed that the 8th edition of the Somalia Economic Update takes place in a day.
It will run from 10am to 12pm on November 30.
The theme for this year’s edition is “Integrating Climate Change with Somalia’s Development: The Case for Water.”
Senior government officials are expected at the event.
These include Jama Taqal and Bihi Egeh, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources and the Minister of Finance respectively.
Officials from the World Bank will be present too.
Kristina Svensson, Stella Ilieva, Chantal Richey, and Fatuma Hirsi will all represent the World Bank at the event.
