Somalia exports only $65,000 worth of goods to Russia.
A recent money market report indicates that trade between Somalia and Russia is heavily skewed against the East African nation.
Further, the report shows that Somalia imports goods worth $10.8 million from Russia.
The report relied on figures from 2021.
However, there is little to prove whether anything has changed in the ensuing period.
Interfax News Agency of Russia shows that Somalia mostly exports sesame seed to Russia.
On the other hand Somalia imports wheat and wheat flour, sunflower oil, and leguminous crops among others.
