Somalia has been promised international help to build strong vaccine logistics system.
The assistance will come from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Somalia’s Ministry of Health is ready to build the system.
Once the system is in place, the country would be able to sustain the progress of any vaccine.
The system would enable it to accelerate immunization campaigns too.
