Somalia is greatly feeling the effects of climate change.
Salah Jama, the Somali Deputy Prime Minister, said this on Sunday, November 6.
Jama is in the Somali delegation that has traveled to Egypt for the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27).
The conference runs from November 6-18 in Sharm El Sheikh.
In his address, the Somali Deputy Prime Minister indicated that climate change remains a cross-cutting issue.
He added that various institutions in Somalia have a mandate that includes addressing the effects of climate change.
