Somalia holds its first national cybersecurity forum.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), through the Minister of Communications and Technology, opened the 1st Somali National Cybersecurity Forum earlier today.
Communications Minister Jama Hassan Khalif expressed delight at the historic opportunity.
In his opening remarks at Jazeera Hotel in Mogadishu, Khalif reiterated the critical role that cybersecurity plays in safeguarding the digital future of Somalia.
The forum’s theme is “Securing Somalia’s Digital Future.”
