Somalia has increased the price for its citizens interested in undertaking a Hajj pilgrimage.
The Director General of Somalia’s Ministry of Religion and Islamic Affairs, Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim, announced on Saturday that the cost for Somali pilgrims to perform Hajj this year has been set at $4,604, marking an increase from last year’s $4,430.
The rise in cost is attributed to higher ticket and hotel prices.
This adjustment reflects the broader global trends affecting travel and accommodation expenses.
The ministry’s announcement allows pilgrims to prepare financially for this spiritual journey.
