Somalia has joined the U-Report Global Movement. In doing so, the East African nation became the 94th member of the U-Report Global Movement.
U-Report refers to a social messaging platform that encourages young people and communities to speak out on issues that are close to their hearts.
The platform runs with the backing of the Bureau of Human Assistance, a department of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
Somalia joined the movement on May 15th, as per an announcement by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
