Participants at the recent National Consultative Council (NCC) discussed and agreed a new model.
They agreed to hold one-person-one-vote polls once every five years.
They also agreed to hold elections for all positions on the same day.
Fiqi, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, launched the exercise with a panel of experts.
The Minister of Internal Security was at the meeting and so were the Chairman of the Civil Society Association and other experts.
