Somalia has launched the National Integrated Monitoring and Evaluation System (NIMIS).
The East African nation launched the system on Thursday.
NIMIS is a product of the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Department.
Director of the M&E department Mohamud S. Nur was the chief guest at the launching ceremony.
The main objective of NIMIS is to synchronise national data.
It will also serve as a program for tracking various government tasks as well as the accurate execution of projects.
