Somalia has urged more Chinese businesses to invest in the country.
Jibril Abdirashid Haji, the Minister of Trade and Industry, issued this rallying call to the Chinese investors on Monday.
He spoke during his meeting with Fei Shengchao, the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.
Haji and Amb. Shengchao met in Mogadishu to discuss trade and economic cooperation.
They also spoke about the importance of business collaboration and investment between their respective nations.
Haji assured the Chinese Ambassador of the government’s commitment to developing and facilitating business in the country.
