Somalia has no hope of defeating and eliminating Al-Shabaab unless it embraces unity.
Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, the Minister of Interior, issued this call on Saturday.
He called upon all Somalis in the country to support the ongoing military offensives by the government against Al-Shabaab fighters around the country.
Fiqi hailed the stance of federal and regional state governments in the counterterrorism offensives.
“The commitment displayed by federal and regional leaders in the ongoing war on terrorism is quite impressive,” stated Fiqi.
