The federal parliament of Somalia is to vote on the new cabinet on Sunday, August 7.
The news from Mogadishu indicates that the House of the People (Lower House) will vote on whether to approve the newly announced cabinet or not.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre announced the cabinet earlier this week.
However, the new ministers cannot assume office until the federal parliament approves their nomination.
The Prime Minister announced a 77-member cabinet.
