Somalia has announced plans to increase the uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The federal Ministry of Health conducted a 2-day workshop designed to discuss this issue and find solutions to the challenges being experienced countrywide.
The ministry’s Family Health Department facilitated the workshop.
Participants discussed ways of ensuring that more people in the country take the vaccine to protect them from COVID-19.
Some of the participants included Director-Generals from the federal and regional state governments.
Health personnel attended the workshop too as did vaccine and C4D program managers.
