Somalia has presented its medium and long-term plans for sustainable water resources management to some of its international partners.
The East African nation presented the plans at a meeting organized jointly by the Arab League and the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
Engineer Ahmed Kurweyne, the Director of Hydrometeorology at the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, presented the plans on Saturday.
The Arab League and UNSOM organized the summit in Cairo to discuss food security, drought, and resilience specifically in nations in the Arab world.
