President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has arrived in Tanzania for the East African Community (EAC) Summit.
The Somali President arrived in Arusha on Thursday, July 21.
Upon arrival, Dr. Peter Mutuku Mathuki, who is the EAC Secretary-General, received President Mohamud.
President Mohamud is in Arusha to seek support for his quest to plead for Somalia’s inclusion as the newest member of the EAC.
He is attending the high-level retreat for the summit of the EAC Common Market.
