The President of Somalia held discussions with the United States Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Undersecretary Victoria Nuland met in Mogadishu on Monday, June 13.
During the meeting, President Mohamud and the Undersecretary of State Nuland discussed several issues touching on their respective nations.
They both recognized the incredible role that the US continues to play as one of Somalia’s most reliable international partners.
Nuland reassured President Mohamud that the US would not stop supporting Somalia as the East African nation strengthens the state institutions.
Their meeting took place at Villa Somalia.
