President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud hosted a dinner for Members of Parliament (MPs) from the House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House).
The dinner took place at Villa Somalia on the night of June 12.
During the banquet, President Mohamud and the parliamentarians discussed wide-ranging issues affecting Somalia.
The issue of security featured prominently in their discussions.
Additionally, President Mohamud and the federal MPs also discussed the finalization of the Draft Constitution that the country has been operating under for years.
They discussed the ongoing drought and its effects on the country too.
