Somalia is ready to build a resilient and productive agricultural sector using technological advancements.

The East African nation will not sit back, vowed Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre revealed this on Friday.

He was speaking at an event organized by the government to celebrate the role different stakeholders play in making Somalia agriculturally resilient and productive.

The Prime Minister hailed the contributions of organizations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and others.

Technological advancements in agriculture can significantly enhance productivity and resilience, especially in regions like Somalia that face unique environmental and economic challenges.

Initiatives supported by USAID and other partners often focus on various aspects such as climate resilient farming practices, innovative agricultural technologies, and capacity building.
