Mogadishu – Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Ali has reiterated Somalia’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with China during a meeting with Chen Xiaodong, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).
According to an official statement, the foreign minister emphasized Somalia’s dedication to “deepening cooperation with China to support national development, regional stability, and strategic partnerships,” following the positive outcomes of the recent Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Ministerial Meeting.
The meeting marks a continued effort by both nations to reinforce diplomatic and development cooperation, especially in areas of infrastructure, trade, and peacebuilding.
