Somalia has received $1 million from China for flood victims.
The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim received the funds from Fei Shengchao, the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.
Amb. Shengchao said that the funds would help victims of the El Nino floods in the country.
Shengchao added that the funds would support delivery of the food supplies that China donates to Somalis affected by floods.
