Somalia Receives 817 Peacekeeping Troops from Djibouti

Somalia has received a fresh batch of peacekeeping troops from Djibouti.

Eight hundred and seventeen peacekeeping troops from Djibouti arrived in Somalia on Tuesday.

Insiders believe the troops are to help protect Somalia in the wake of aggression from Ethiopia.

Djibouti considers Somalia its big brother.

Historically, both nations enjoy solid diplomatic and bilateral relations.

Somalia and Ethiopia have been sounding the war drums over the past couple of weeks.
