Somalia has received a fresh grant of $75 million from the World Bank.
Bihi Egeh, the federal Minister of Finance, confirmed the news to the rest of the nation on Monday. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the people and government of Somalia to the World Bank.
The grant is part of the efforts by the World Bank to support Somalia’s budget.
“We are grateful to the World Bank for the grant, which will help us to build a strong and inclusive economy,” Egeh added.
