Somalia has received a donation of Bayraktar drones from Turkey.
The drones arrived in the East African nation on Friday, December 10.
Sources from Somalia indicate that the drones would prove useful to security agencies in ensuring that the country remains safe and secure.
The drones are highly regarded worldwide.
On Friday, the drones that Somalia received were the first batch. Turkey will be sending more drones in the coming days and weeks.
Turkey continues to invest heavily in Somalia’s security sector.
