Somalia has received military equipment from the United States.
The East African nation received the donations on Wednesday.
The US Embassy in Mogadishu confirmed that it made the donation.
Somali National Army (SNA) will receive and use the equipment.
According to the Embassy, SNA will use the equipment to fight violent extremism in the country.
