Somalia received the new Swedish Ambassador to the country on Tuesday.
Balal Mohamed Osman, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received the credentials of the new Swedish Ambassador to Somalia.
Per Lindgarde presented his credentials to Osman in Mogadishu on October 19.
Ambassador Lindgarde was at Osman’s office in the nation’s capital.
Osman welcomed Lindgarde to the country. Furthermore, they took the opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between their respective nations.
The minister wished the Swedish Ambassador success as he begins his tour of duty in the East African nation.
Ambassador Lindgarde expressed his delight at the opportunity he now has to represent his country in Somalia.
