Somalia has recorded 14 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested in the last 72 hours, the country’s Ministry of Health has confirmed.
The health ministry reported conducting 385 tests from Sunday to Tuesday this week.
More interestingly, all the 14 new cases were recorded in Puntland where 11 of the cases were male while the rest were female.
Furthermore, the country now boasts of 21 new recoveries and no more deaths.
Consequently, Somalia’s tally of confirmed cases now stands at 3,390 while recoveries are at 2,812 and deaths remain at 98.
