Somalia’s Ministry of Health has announced 18 new COVID-19 cases in the country from tests conducted on samples in the last 24 hours.
The health ministry confirmed that Somaliland is responsible 10 cases. Puntland recorded the remaining eight cases.
Consequently, the health ministry announced that the country’s tally of COVID-19 cases had jumped to 3,196.
Fortunately, there are no new deaths to report.
Furthermore, 22 more people had recovered from the virulent disease that continues to ravage the entire world.
The health ministry continues to urge the public to observe the protocols imposed by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization to curb the spread of the deadly disease.
