Somalia has recorded 63 new COVID-19 cases, according to the latest announcement from the Minister of Health.
On Tuesday, November 24, the health ministry announced 63 new cases from 3,203 samples tested in the last one week.
Somaliland was ranked highest with 24 cases followed closely by Puntland with 23 cases.
Benadir was responsible for the remaining 16 cases.
Fifty four of the cases were male while the remaining nine were female.
Furthermore, the health ministry announced that 28 fresh recoveries had been recorded in the latest figures to bring this tally to 3,412.
Meanwhile, the country has now recorded 4,445 positive COVID-19 cases out of which 113 have died after five new deaths were reported in the last week.
