Somalia has recorded a sharp increase in cases of cholera and measles.
The United Nations (UN) Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) issued a report on this today.
OCHA blamed the rise in disease outbreaks on the lack of access to clean water.
Somalia has experienced failed rains for five consecutive seasons thus leading to drought and possible famine.
The situation has been exacerbated by poor hygiene and a lack of quality health care services.
