Somalia regional leaders who have been holding talks in Dhusamareb are expected to leave for Garowe to attend the burial of Mohamed Abdi Hashi, a former President of Puntland.
Hashi recently passed on while in Nairobi, Kenya.
President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland already departed from the capital of Galmudug State to lead preparations for the burial.
Among the leaders scheduled to attend Hashi’s burial include President Ahmed Madobe of Jubbaland and President Mohamed Ware of HirShabelle.
President Abdulaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen of the Southwest state and President Ahmed Kariye Qoorqoor of Galmudug are among dignitaries expected in Garowe tomorrow.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Somalia Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire is expected in Garowe tomorrow for the funeral of former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Abshir Farah.
The former premier died in an Ankara hospital while receiving treatment.
After the two burials, the leaders will then return to Dhusamareb to continue the talks that have been going on since late last week.
