Somalia has rejected the call for mediation of its ongoing diplomatic row with Ethiopia.
The African Union Peace and Security Council (AUPSC) issued the call for mediation after a meeting held on Wednesday.
AUPSC recommends mediation and dialogue as the solution for the fierce diplomatic row between Somalia and Ethiopia.
However, Somalia believes that the call for mediation is uncalled for at the moment.
In its view, Ethiopia should set the ball rolling by apologizing for the blatant aggression demonstrated against Somalia.
It also wants Ethiopia to cancel the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Somaliland.
