Somalia has rejected a call by Ethiopia for a meeting to discuss ways of resolving the ongoing row between them.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud rejected the request by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia.
President Mohamud and Prime Minister Ahmed spoke on phone on Wednesday.
Sources intimate that President Mohamud urged the Ethiopian Prime Minister to apologize for the agreement signed with Somaliland on January 1, 2024 first.
He accused Abiy of violating Somalia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity.
