Somalia seeks to strengthen cross-border trade with Ethiopia.
Jibril Abdirashid Haji, the Somali Minister of Commerce and Industry, agreed on the modalities for this during his meeting with Ahmed Shide on Sunday.
Shide is Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Haji and Shide met in Addis Ababa on the sidelines of the ongoing African Union (AU) Summit.
They discussed and agreed on the importance of strengthening economic relations between Somalia and Ethiopia.
