President Muse Bihi of Somaliland recently welcomed Danish Ambassador Steen Sonne Andersen at the Presidential Palace to discuss areas of cooperation and strengthen relations between Denmark and Somaliland.
Their talks focused on ongoing collaborative development projects, emphasizing the need for continued partnership in key areas.
They also addressed Somaliland’s upcoming elections and regional peace and security issues in the Horn of Africa.
President Bihi was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Essa Kayd Mohamoud, while Ambassador Andersen was joined by Mathias Kjaer, Head of Denmark’s office in Somaliland.
This meeting underscores both nations’ commitment to fostering diplomatic ties and working toward shared goals in development and stability.
