Somalia has signed a security agreement with Saudi Arabia.
The two nations signed the agreement in Riyadh on Sunday.
The agreement allows both nations to engage in security cooperation and support.
Abshir Omar Jama and Hines Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud signed the agreement on behalf of their respective nations.
Jama is Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation while Al Saud is the Saudi Minister of Interior.
Through the agreement, Somalia and Saudi Arabia will collaborate in a number of areas.
These include counterterrorism, development, and sharing of intelligence reports.
