Somalia Signs a 5-Year Audit MoU with Sweden

Somalia signed a 5-year audit Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sweden.

Ahmed Gutale, the Somalia Auditor-General, signed the MoU with Helena Lindberg, his Swedish counterpart.

The agreement, signed on Tuesday, lays the groundwork for a comprehensive cooperation between the respective offices of the auditor-general.

It will define key support areas for the both Auditor-Generals too.

Specifically, the MoU allows Somalia and Sweden to pay close attention to Performance Audit, which is a newly established function.
