Somalia Signs Intelligence-Sharing Agreement with Turkey

Somalia and Turkey have signed an important intelligence-sharing agreement.

The new agreement is aimed at combating financial crimes, including money laundering and terrorism financing.

The agreement was signed in Ankara by Somalia’s Financial Reporting Center and Turkey’s Financial Intelligence Unit (MASAK).

It marks a significant step in strengthening cooperation between the two nations in addressing financial crime.

By sharing intelligence and resources, both countries aim to enhance their ability to detect, prevent, and combat these illegal activities.

These activities pose threats to the security and economic stability of both Somalia and Turkey.
