Somalia and Turkey have finalized key agreements to enhance justice cooperation between the two nations, as per the latest communiqué from the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
The first aspect touches on transfer of sentenced persons that allows individuals convicted in one country to serve their sentences in their home countries.
Secondly, the agreement has to do with mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, which facilitates cooperation in investigations, prosecutions, and legal proceedings involving criminal offenses.
These measures aim to strengthen bilateral ties, promote justice, and bolster the rule of law, reflecting both nations’ commitment to deepening collaboration on legal and judicial matters.
