Somalia has launched negotiations on its bid to join the East African Community (EAC).
Representatives from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) were in Nairobi to embark on discussions with officers from the EAC Secretariat.
Somalia’s bid to join EAC recently received a huge boost when it was pre-approved.
By all accounts, the country is set to be the newest member of EAC by the end of the year.
Negotiations regarding its impending admission kicked off in the Kenyan capital on Tuesday.
