Somalia will be eligible for full debt relief by the end of 2022.
“The East African nation qualifies for full debt relief by the end of the year,” the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mentioned.
IMF has commended the bold measures Somalia has taken to be ready for this step.
Some of these measures include reforms designed to improve revenue collection and fiscal transparency.
