Somalia has launched Phase 3 of its Emergency Relief Project.
The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) launched the project jointly with the Saudi Arabia government on Tuesday.
Mahamuud Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner, launched the program with Ahmed Bin Mohamed, the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia.
Saudi Arabia funds the project fully.
The purpose of the project is to ensure that Somalis affected by the ongoing drought receive much-needed assistance.
